Nemesis is a Houston based Thrash Metal band consisting of four members. Nick Broussard, the lead singer and guitarist, delivers passionate, gritty, yet melodic vocals while also pumping out screaming guitar solos. Ezra Terry, the second guitarist and backup vocalist, brings a wealth of music theory knowledge to the band, resulting in complicated riffs and mind-blowing solos not found in the contemporary metal scene. Reagan Burhardt, the bassist and backup vocalist, lends a soulful and powerful bass sound that cements the music together and can stand solidly on its own. Alex Fullerton, the drummer, provides the consistent timing and raw power that fuels Thrash Metal and energizes the pit!

Nemesis draws its musical inspirations from 80's Thrash Metal giants like Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Forbidden, and Exodus. The current music scene yearns for the return of explosive guitar riffs, finger contorting solos, and intelligible, relevant lyrics that speak to the listener. This demand is fueling the reemergence of the Heavy Metal genre. Nemesis answers this demand with the unrivaled ability to shed out complicated guitar licks like no one else on the scene today and rival the God's of old. Nemesis also brings a dynamic presence to the stage that gets everyone into the music and leaves them wanting more. The band truly loves writing and performing their music and that is evident in the audience response. Thus, making Nemesis one of the most entertaining new Thrash Metal bands to watch live. Nemesis has a strong cult following in Houston and is featured at The End, Trip Six, Black Magic Social Club, the Compound, Scout Bar, Warehouse Live Houston, and White Oak Music Hall. They have also played at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in California!

Steve Simpson of Subhuman Recordings loves working with Nemesis. He said that working with them "is easy because the source is GREAT!"
